We are committed to carrying out the Great Commission in partnership with local churches in North America and beyond, networking with local mission organizations, national partners and other evangelical organizations within Cambodia. Where effective, we partner with short-term missionaries with the aim of strengthening the long-term team effort while providing a vision broadening experience for short-term volunteers.

On-the-ground staff, both expat and local, serve as a frontline influence on the continuing development of vision and implementation of new efforts of ministry. Personnel are encouraged and empowered to seek the Lord and His vision for future expansion.

Our mission is constant but “one size does not fit all.” This being true, our strategies to realize our mission may vary and change over time. We always look for best practices and better ways. We are not afraid to risk as we seek for the most effective way of accomplishing our mission.

We are accountable to our supporting churches and donors for tangible ministry results. We are committed to accountability at all levels within our organization. Regular newsletters, annual mission reports, and other forms of communication are provided to those who support our ministry.

A well-resourced organization is more likely to be an effective organization. It is the responsibility of all EQUIP Cambodia personnel to participate in the resourcing of personnel, strategy, and finances. We make our plans large, because we are following God's leading.

We emphasize the biblical mandate of serving to the whole person in the name of Christ. This includes ministries of compassion, education, and other ministry platforms in addition to those of evangelism

The Field Staff of Equip Cambodia provides pastoral equipping to young Cambodian Christian men who have discerned a call to ministry upon their life. Our goal is that the Cambodian church be led by well-trained local leaders who can have an effective and relevant outreach to their community. Equip Cambodia believes passionately that Cambodians are best equipped to bring Cambodians to Christ. For this reason, our perspective is that a foreign missionary’s presence is most effective when used to raise up and train local leadership for the ongoing ministry of the Cambodian church. Foreign missionaries may serve alongside Cambodian pastors; however, the outreach and growth of the church are led by local pastors and leaders. ultimately responsible for the outreach and growth of the church. Our desire is to serve alongside a truly indigenous movement of Cambodian Christians who are reaching out to their fellow countrymen.
